Jeremy Allen White Joins Star Wars Film The Mandalorian & Grogu as Jabba the Hutt’s Son

The Star Wars universe is expanding yet again, and this time it’s welcoming Jeremy Allen White, the breakout star of The Bear. According to Variety, White has been cast as Rotta the Hutt, the son of the infamous Jabba the Hutt, in the upcoming film The Mandalorian & Grogu.
The film, which builds on the success of the hit Disney+ series, promises to delve deeper into the galaxy far, far away. Rotta, who first appeared in the 2008 animated movie Star Wars: The Clone Wars, is now reimagined as a more complex character. Jeremy Allen White’s casting hints at a fresh, dramatic interpretation that could add depth to this legacy character.
